Villa Durban is located in Albufeira next to a beach called Praia de São Rafael. This is the perfect Villa for your either short or long stay, at an affordable price. We arrived at Faro on the 6 of February 2021 and rented a car using Carjet.com. We were surprised with the price which we got for our car rental. We rented a car for 46 days for just 174 euros. The price does not include own damage insurance. The car was in good condition and very clean. The owner of the car explained everything to us and we went to our Airbnb apartment.
We rented our first apartment for 2 nights. We wanted to make sure first that we would like the place and want to stay there for 46 days. The first place we rented was great but it was not for us. we were traveling with our 5 months old daughter and the apartment was a bit cold. Also, it was quite an old apartment.
Our goal is to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Faro, Portugal. We started to contact people and asked them if we could see the place because we were planning to make a long term rental. With our search, we came across DreamPlaces holiday rentals (https://www.dreamplaces.pt/). This is where we found our perfect place to stay, in Villa Durban. They have 52 Villas which are all amazing. We saw some of their other villas which were quite big for us since we were only two adults and one infant. We decided to rent a Villa Durban.
The best thing about this place is that the host is amazing, he provided us everything we requested. We both work from home and requested an office table and a chair which was provided to us instantly. We requested some other things which were also provided to us the next day. Staying in this villa feels like a 5 stars hotel. With a swimming pool in the front and a car parking in the main entrance. The central heating makes the villa well warmed on cold rainy days. The beds were amazing and comfortable. Our small daughter slept with us in our bed and it was comfortable for all three of us. The showers were clean and wonderful tubs. Each room has its attached toilet.
The best part of this villa is that it has a perfect view of sunrise and sunset. You can wake up to the sunrise. The villa also offers a sea view from the balcony and 5 minutes walk straight to ‘white sand beach’. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The villa has two rooms upstairs with attached bathrooms and a balcony at the front and the back. Downstairs, you have a living room with a dining table and tv and a front balcony with a pool view. The kitchen is located next to the main entree and between the kitchen and the living room, there is an extra bathroom.
The swimming pool is divided into three pools, one for adults and two for kids. The best part is the perfect internet to work from home and remotely. This is the place where you can bring your teammates and have full fun and at the same time work remotely. You must have a car, then you will enjoy the full stay of this place. Anywhere you stay in faro, if you have a car or a motorbike, you will enjoy traveling around. We arrived during the covid-19 time. Most shops and restaurants are closed but we have the full view of everything to ourselves. We rented this place so we can have a good time as a family and at the same time have more space for work. Since we could not have office space back home, we decided to spend our time in a place which can be fun and good to work from home.
