Thank you for the Insurance Broker contact in Cebu who were able to obtain a cover for my 650 cc Motor Bike.
This was not a fast process because of my request for higher Third Party Property Damage & Third party personal Injury.
Is there any way an approach can be made to the Insurance Council – Commission, or whomever they are, to start being more realistic with theThird party Insurance, for larger Motor Bikes.
Why is it that they get to dictate to me, the Customer the coverage I can & cannot have.
A 650cc bike with rider pillion & Top & Side boxes comes in at around 430 kg & if it should happen to hit something the amount of damage I am going to do is going to be quite significant in cost & way over the ridiculous limits placed on me by this Body.
Why can’t I pay for & or buy the coverage I want?
These people are out of touch with the Motor Bikes sizes & weights & need to be given a reality check.
A 650 cc is not a big bike in the world of Motor Bikes, it’s only a mid-range size.
If anyone has contacts so we can get this ridiculous attitude – policy rectified, it would be appreciated……Thank You.
Thank you so much sharing your experience with us. We will work on problem you have mention and hope fully provide solution in future. We say once again thank you for using our Motorbike insurance service in the Philippines
Hello Bruce, there have been new rules implemented due to your request and persistence. Now body Bodily Injury (BI) can be covered up to 200,000.00 and Property Damage (PD) up to 200,000.00
