⚠️ Important Reminder:
To rent and legally drive a motorbike or car in Phuket, you must have an International Driving License.
- If you’re renting a motorbike, make sure your license includes motorbike endorsement.
- Police regularly check licenses, and riding without the proper one can lead to a 2,000 THB fine.
This rule applies to all rental shops in Kata, Karon, and Patong Beach.
